This time around Dan welcomes the French philospher and femininist Manon Garcia. Her book “Living with Men” takes a cold hard look at the Pelicot trial. To recap, Giséle Pelicot’s husband of 50 years drugged her each night and invited men to have sex with her while she was unconcious. 50 of these men went on trial. She and Dan talk about the trial, the state of women’s rights today, and how kink can be cloak to hide abuse.
Not a cheery one, but fascinating nonetheless.
