“Everybody forgot about the South.”
For those of us fortunate enough to live in pro-abortion states, it can be hard to wrap our heads around how dire the situation is in the deep red South for women who need reproductive care. This week on Sex & Politics, Dan speaks with Robin Marty, a reproductive rights reporter who moved to Alabama to start the West Alabama Women’s Center. Marty explains how the elimination of abortion rights also gutted basic heath services for women. The term “pro life” is a misnomer, as Marty’s experience reveals.
She also explains how to acquire and use Plan C pills.
