The Thursday Letter Is Back, Baby!

...am VERY behind in Daredevil comics but I thought Dan might find it cool. I did not know, and I do find it cool — thanks, Megan! Second, Alexis corrects the record… Dan! Grapefruiting has been a thing since I was in high school — and I graduated 2009! I remember this woman posting a grapefruiting tutorial to YouTube and I just looked and it’s still up but on a different page! Please watch! She’s wild! I would not do this to my man! I’ve been doing this for so long — I’ve writing and talking about sex for so long — that I like to think I’ve already heard of everything already. Consequently, when something comes up that I haven’t heard of, I quickly (and rather conceitedly) conclude that it’s either not really a thing or it’s a thing someone made up to punk me. So, thank you for correcting the record on grapefruiting, Alexis, and thank you for reminding me to google shit before I run my mouth. (For the record: I wouldn’t do it to my man either! Or an innocent piece of grapefruit!) Thirdly, Vince sent in some advice for a recent caller via email… This is for the guy who was called ageist after he told an older guy on a hookup app that he was too old for him: Your mistake was giving the guy a reason for rejecting him. You just should’ve said something like ‘I don’t think we’re a match’ and left it at that. Nobody wants to hear they’re too old, too fat, too short, too bald, too ugly, too femme, etc. I think telling them is mean. Don’t be mean, just say ‘I don’t think we’re a match’ and leave it at that. That’s good advice, Vince. I would also urge people on the receiving end of “I don’t think we’re a match” not ask any followup questions. (Also: the comment threads are a much better way to get your advice in front of the eyes of callers, Vince. Join the discussion and eliminate the middledan! Okay, here’s The Thursday Letter for this week… Not sure if you can help me or if perhaps I am beyond any hope. I am a 42-year-old straight male and still a virgin. I did not plan this. Life was not easy growing up and I always felt awkward and worthless. I started dating women in my late twenties but nothing ever grew in to a relationship. Most of these were sblind dates and I felt like part of show for the people that set them up. Now I am living with my parents, who are not financially stable. This seems to have definitively killed any potential future possibilities. I have thought about escorts or going to another country where prostitution is legal regulated, but I am put off by the ethical/moral dilemmas involved (exploitation) and the high risk of contracting some disease. Plus, I am not an export in looking things up anonymously and I don’t want to risk the cookies and tracking ads that will surely come if I start searching for sex workers. Do you have any suggestions for someone like me or I am just a lost cause? Male Virgo Intacto P.S. I really hope you will provide me an answer.
